Bhit Shah is perhaps my best trip to date. It was the tomb
of Hazrat Shah Abdul
Latif Bhitai.
The place oozed art. Bhit shah is located about three to four hours from
Karachi. Considering we travelled by bus, our travel time was much more than
usual. When we reached there I was overawed the feeling that place gave to me.
We started shooting right away and after a short walk made our way into the
mazaar. And boy were we impressed, especially the musicians who sing Bhittai's Kalaam
all the time. It was mesmerizing.
Moreover, as photographers we experimented with fill flash techniques for the first time. So all in all it was a great trip full of great experiences.
