Street Photography - Tando Ghulam Haider, Matli and Baba Hayat Dargah Hyderabad

Last sunday I visited Hyderabad's Baba Hayat Dargah. It was a beautiful and serene place and I met some amazing people. Next stop was Tando Ghulam Haider in Matli to meet Sain (a revered saint). The meeting was amazing as I realized that the path to the "Self" is a long hard one.

Justice for Shahzeb khan - the protest continues (Expo Center)

This Sunday on 13 January 2013 another protest against the brutal murder of Shahzeb Khan was held at Karachi Expo center. This was in continuation of a series of protests which are being held regularly against this heinous act. Members of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM )were also present.

Phegency event - Nandos butterfly chicken breast meal launch

Phegency recently hosted an event at Nandos boat basin for their butterfly chicken breast meal. The event was an astounding success with performances by the extremely witty Danish Ali from Karachi and musicians Usman and Ali from Islamabad.

Cinderjutt - the play

Yesterday we attended the play titled Cinderjutt at Arts Council Karachi. It was a delightful experience and truly made all of us laugh. The play provided a great release for the audience from the ever deteriorating condition in our country. We wish the best to all of the Cinderjutt team.

Cafe Pink Cadillac - Media Launch

In the recent times, many new cafes and restaurants have been opened in the city especially in DHA. The newest addition is Cafe Pink Cadillac. We were invited by Pheby Haroon, a friend and the owner of Phegency, to cover the media night and the official launch of the cafe on 26th December 2012. Justice for Shahzeb Khan - protest at Sea View against his brutal murder

On Sunday January 6, 2013 a protest was held at Sea View against the brutal murder of Shahzeb Khan. The young twenty year old, who was the son of a DSP was gunned down in Defence by Siraj Talpur and Shahrukh Jatoi.

Even his father who himself is a DSP had numerous difficulties and pressures.
However, his death did not go unnoticed, after a series of protests, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has taken suo motu notice of the murder. Moreover, Siraj Talpur has been arrested. Shahrukh Jatoi has fled to UAE, but the authorities are on to him. In spite of the clout that the families of the two suspects have in this nation, let us struggle for justice for Shahzeb Khan. Members of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) also participated in the protest.
